This jacket has 3D flowers, it's cropped, and has ridiculously puffed shoulders. Could an article of clothing be more perfect? Maybe only when paired with an equally bright shirt. Unfortunately, this thrifted piece of sunshine was the victim of spilt coffee. I thought perhaps my belly button exploded until I looked down to realize I dumped half my cup of morning 'jo on myself. Is that attractive, or is that attractive?

I have been reading The Man Repeller nonstop lately and she definitely inspired this outfit. I love the layering and print and texture mixing she does and I took a note from her and out popped this look.

I also have some news: if you've been following this blog for quite some time, you'll know how difficult the past year and a half has been. Starting the twenty-seventh, I'll be in a six week outpatient program to learn to cope with stress, emotions, my social anxiety as well as my depression. I'm incredibly nervous about it, but I think it's going to be so beneficial. After that... well, I'm hoping to get a job. Here's to the future.

The 18th Annual Screen Actor's Guild Awards

As we all know, the Screen Actor's Guild Awards just happened, which means: lots of celebrities in lots of dresses! The main reason I love award shows is to see what everyone is wearing, so here are my favourite and least favourite looks.

Dianna Agron's ruffles look amazing! In my opinion, ruffles are very hit or miss but she looks beautiful. Kaley Cuoco looks absolutely stunning in her dress (very wedding-esque), and is by far my favourite. Natalie Portman always impresses me - she could wear a garbage bag and she'd still be on my favourites list. Lastly, Sofia Vergara looks gorgeous and curvy in her number.

And now my least favourites. I find Ashlee Simpson's dress just has too much going on and just doesn't look right. Viola Davis' dress would have been gorgeous but the detailing on the bust, again, looks awkward. It looks like it's an extra piece that was glued on at the last minute. Lastly, I am a huge fan of Zoe Saldana, as an actress and what she wears. However, I find this dress just.. isn't doing anything for her. It looks like the bottom of a bride's maid dress paired with a tank top and bohemian shirt.

As I stated in this post earlier in the week, everyone should realize they are beautiful, no matter what shape, size or colour. However, I know there are obviously lots of people who are incomfortable in their skin and there are days when I am too. I am currently trying to lose weight; I had lost fifteen pounds before Christmas, but due to the holidays, have now only lost 7 pounds. I have a fairly large amount of weight I want to lose and have finally come to terms that it is not going to be a quick or easy process. I may not lose it by summer (which was my original goal), hell, I may not even lose it by Christmas. Who knows? The bottom line is though: I am going to lose the weight I want to, be healthier, be fitter.

What about you guys? Are any of you working on losing weight or have you lose your weight already? If so, how did you do it / how are you doing it?

After living in my apartment for nearly a year, the final touches are finally being put on my bedroom. A bookcase, curtains, hanging things on the wall. You'd think we would've done this during the first week, but no.. almost a year later is when it gets done. Oh well.
This romper is the cutest and most comfortable thing ever. Skirt in the front, shorts in the back, like the skorts we all wore as children. The only bad thing is that the buttons tend to randomly open, so every once in a while someone gets flashed. Again, I say: oh well.

The awakening

I thought the weather was starting to warm up until we were hit with a blizzard and ice rain today. I bought this dress a couple weeks ago with my friends from university when they were visiting my hometown. At first I was very hesitant about buying it; it does show quite a lot of skin and I'm not exactly the thinnest girl out there. After considering it and staring at myself in the mirror for ages, I did decide to get it.

Just because you're not stick thin doesn't mean you can't wear the exact same styles. Whether you're a size two, twelve, or twenty-two, you can rock short shorts or a cut-out dress, because what shows more than the garment on your body is your confidence radiating out of you. No matter what size you are, you shouldn't be ashamed of wearing something you may think "only a skinny girl can wear." That's a load of bullshit. We can all wear the same things, because we're all beautiful.

If you follow me on Twitter (link on the sidebar), then you'll already know I got this awesome headscarf at the thrift store I work at for 57 cents. How great is that? I really don't own enough metallic pieces in my wardrobe, and although this one is small, it packs quite a punch.

Anyhow, I think the title of this post says it all. We were hit with a blizzard today and what are you supposed to wear outside when it's minus twenty degrees, windy, and the ground is covered in ice? Nothing too glamourous, I'll tell you that. So instead, I stayed inside and threw this number on to lift my spirits.

How-to: Eye makeup

Look one: Naturally blue
Sweep a highlight colour (white/cream) from the crease to the eyebrow. Sweep a light brown over the entire eyelid. Using a medium brown, start at the outer corner of the eye and sweep until about halfway in, blending the end. Line the bottom lashes with the same brown to the halfway point. Using a light blue, line the other half of the bottom eyelashes and also sweep it across the crease. Fill in the eyebrows with eyebrow filler and use mascara on the lashes.

Look two: Twiggy
So this one was obviously inspired by Twiggy's classic look. Sweep a colour that matches your skin from your eyelid to your eyebrow, evening out all the skin's colour. Using a cream eyeliner (though powder with water will work, too), draw a line across your upper lashes. Let it dry. Then, draw a line in your crease (use q-tip to fix any mistakes). Use lots of mascara on upper and lower lashes. Fill in eyebrows.

Look three: Underline It
Sweeping a bright colour under your lower lashes is definitely a "trend" right now. For this look, I used a white highlighting eyeshadow from the crease up to my eyebrow. I swept a light brown with pink flecks across my whole lid, then used a bright blue eyeshadow to line the lower lashes. Top it off with bold brows and lots of mascara.

Look four: Ol' blue eyes
Use a white highlight colour from your crease to your eyebrow. Use a bright but light blue from the inner corner to halfway across your upper lid. Use a darker blue to fill in the rest of your lid. Then, with an extremely dark blue, fill in your crease and put a little on the outer area of your lid. Underline your lower lid with the same blues. Apple mascara and fill in your eyebrows.

Look five: Falsies
Use a white highlight colour from the crease to your eyebrow. Use a light gray from your inner corner to halfway across your eyelid and line your lower lashes with this colour. Use an almost black eyeshadow to fill in the rest of your eyelid. Using a cream eyeliner and an angle brush, create the winged effect. Then apply fake eyelashes to your upper lids for extra drama.

This is a photo of only one of my jewellery boxes. Some people say you only need one or two pieces of signature jewellery, like a pair of diamond earrings and a pearl necklace. I have to completely disagree with this! Accessories are meant to be played with and are there to amp up any outfit. Some people I know have told me I need to wear smaller rings (and less, for that matter) and that I should stop buying thrifted/vintage necklaces because they're "gaudy." I'm ~~sorry~~ ecstatic about my jewellery collection: I have functional pieces, goth ones, big clunky ones. In my opinion, if you can play with your wardrobe and have fun with that, you can play with your accessories, too.

I bought this shirt at Forever21 during the Boxing Day week sales. I love the pattern (it definitely reminds me of Miu Miu) and I've been looking for a blouse with cut-out shoulders. I bought this skirt at the thrift store I work at for a cool eighty-five cents! The nails are Sally Hansen's "salon effects" and I absolutely love them. They're almost like peel on stickers and I'm definitely going to be using them again.

I hope you all had a great weekend! I spent mine watching a horror movie with my boyfriend, shopping for wood stain and crown moulding, and continuing to write my novel (if you follow me on twitter (link on the side) you'll know what I'm talking about).
Anyhow, I finally tracked down a pair of wide leg trousers in my size. I'm a size 14, so I'm just too big for "regular" stores, and just too small for plus size stores, so finding clothing is really tricky right now. I found these trousers at Addition Elle - I absolutely love that store! If you're a size 14 or more, I definitely recommend shopping there. The workers are so sweet and the clothing is actually really cute.

I wore this today to hang out with my boyfriend. The weather here is unseasonably warm. Granted, it's still cold, but I'm able to wear a skirt and tights without getting frost bite and there isn't much snow on the ground. So I'll call it warm.
On a worse note, I do seem to be coming down with a cold and cough combination which seems to want to kill me. But on a plus side, I got myself a brand new Black and Decker coffee maker to keep me company (and hyper? better for writing stories, I say). Maybe drinking a cup at 8pm isn't the best idea, but hey, it kept me running. Besides, isn't that what sleeping pills are for?

My boyfriend took these photos of me yesterday. I'm an incredibly awkward person in general, but even moreso once put in front of a camera (it's part of my charm, I'd like to believe). Lately, I'm really into mixing patterns, so here I did it again. The loose, see-through shirt is from Zellers and I absolutely love it. I'm not sure that you can see it, but on the left side of the chest there's a little pocket with gold zipper detailing; I love little details like that.

Inspiration board

This is actually my first time making an inspiration board. Though it may not look like a typical one, it conveys everything that's been inspiring my in the past month or so, all for different things. The clothing from Style Stalker is a bit of a given; I've always loved their collections, and their designs never cease to fail. From the daring neckline in the first photo to a vamped up bralette or eye-catching leggings, they seem to always get the little details just right. I absolutely love the leggings as I'm getting very sick of the regular black cotton ones, and it's a fresh spin on them. Clutches are a great change from the stereotypical massive purse most girls carry around nowadays (you know, the kind where you can fit a litter of puppies inside). I'm getting way more into clunky heels too, lately, versus the dainty stilleto. The two photos in the fourth row are a kind of "thinspiration" or "fitspiration." If you've been reading my twitter, you know I've been making healthier food choices and working out, and whenever I feel like giving up, I take a look at photos of women's bodies I envy and think "One day." As for the second last one, it's a funny quote by an amazing actor. Though humorous, it reminds me to accept my crazy and my flaws and that maybe they aren't even "flaws," but just more complex things about me. And the last one? For months now, I have been drawn to nude lips. There's just something about them... especially when teamed with an over-dramatic eye.

I wore this on Friday with a pair of jeans to run some errands. I have always loved seeing people mix patterns so I decided to give it a try. Not wanting to overwhelm the outfit, I kept the blouse fairly simple and from afar, you can't even tell it has a pattern. The cardigan is a new purchase, which I absolutely love. I was originally going to get it in blue but opted for the brown one instead, thinking I could wear it more often with more choices. Since getting my ears pierced a few months ago, I really haven't bought any earrings, so I got a few pairs and I absolutely love them. I think the accessories you choose to wear can definitely bring a whole outfit together, be it a pair of chandelier earrings or a cuff. The blouse also has a very cute neck tie (you can see the strings in the first photo) which I find adorable. I love wearing very feminine pieces, because, well... I'm a girly girl!

So, as you all know if you follow me on Twitter, I went to Toronto last weekend with my family. The trip was alright; a change of scenery is always nice! Since we don't have an H&M in my hometown, my sister and I decided to go to the one in the ever-famous Eaton Centre. I tried on lots of things, though this dress was the only one purchased. I have to say, though, that I am completely in love with it- I love it's soft texture and flowiness, and the pleats on the top are just too cute. I don't own much white, as I'm a huge kluts and will spill any and everything, but I just had to get this dress.

I know I haven't posted in ages - I am so sorry! I don't really have an excuse other than.. I just haven't felt like it. I'm currently off school and not working due to my anxiety, so I spend most of my days at home. I normally don't get too dressed up when I'm just on the couch for most of the day, you know? I have recently started exercising though (it's been about 6 weeks or so), and I've lost around 10lbs but still have many to go. I'm fairly certain I've decided what I want to take in school, though I'm keeping it a secret for now as to not jinx it. I also have a shiny new boyfriend who is tall and French - a deadly combination, if I do say so myself. I've been baking more, too, and continue to do so and try more challenging recipes over time.

I have the feeling that things are going really well and they're just going to continue to get better. I'm also going to start "dressing up" more, even if I do just stay inside all day, and I'll try to photo-document my outfits more and post regularly.

Yesterday, I attended the art exhibit of Michelangelo de Caravaggio. The pieces were absolutely beautiful - with the detailing and lighting, the people on the canvas' were incredibly realistic and their emotion just spilled off the walls. It was incredibly humbling to see all of his masterpieces. They were created over 400 years ago, and yet here they are, in perfect condition, for our viewing pleasure. Each one took your breath away.

Today is also the 10th year anniversary of the horrible day we all know as 9/11. What happened that day is irreversible, the acts psychologically damaging and left terror inside every one of us. Nothing anyone says or does can take back what happened that day, but my thoughts and prayers go out to everyone that was effected.

The last little while has been hectic. I begin a new job on Tuesday, I've been learning more sign language and have started to teach myself Spanish as well. I've been reading more than ever: Eat Pray Love, my Spanish translation book, and old English. These are just some more photos from my camping trip the other weekend. I know I already recapped it, but I just wanted to say again how absolutely wonderful it was to just escape the city, if only for a few days.

Instead, now all my clothes lay on my floor in a giant pile of doom, staring at me every time I walk past them. And I realize that picking them up, tossing them into some washing machines (btw, how cool are those ones?!) and walking away for an hour isn't that hard, except... it REALLY is. Or maybe I'm just that lazy. Oh well.

A weekend away

A week ago, I went away for three days camping with friends. It was the perfect getaway; we relaxed in hammocks, drank, ate smores, and just hung around. We also had the oppportunity to go to a "touch a truck" show - where firetrucks are brought out to the public and you can go inside them and on top of them. Today is my 19th birthday. Throughout the day, I have been overly reflective of not only this past year, but those to come. If you've been following me for some time now, which I believe most of you have been, you know what's been going on in my life and how difficult it can be. I have learned so much about myself this year, and I am still young and still learning. I don't know what I'm going to do with my life; and for the first time, I'm ok with that. I spend too much money on makeup and should probably quit smoking, but I'm not perfect, nor have I ever claimed to be anything near it.

Something that has been prevelent on my mind more than ever is that I feel the urge, the need, to create something beautiful. I do not know what, or how, or even when, simply the need to. I have been toying with the ideas of making steampunk jewelry, or painting, and I've begun drawing again. But how do I know when I've created the right thing? And what is it that I am trying to create, and what kind of impact do I want it to have, and on how many people? Do I want something to effect the entire planet, such as Jane Austen's work or Shakespeare, or something smaller, like the amazing volunteers in my city? Or is the thing I am looking for right infront of me, in me, just waiting for the proper time: motherhood?

Yes folks, this is what is always on my mind. Anyhoo, this is what I wore tonight for my birthday dinner: a silk Aritzia dress, Aldo heels, Guess belt, gifted bracelets, Primative Behaviour blue ring and Suzy Shier shield ring.

These photos were taken at Morrisburg this past weekend when I went there with my family. It's absolutely beautiful there- the sky, the water, just everything. Plus, they have swirly ice cream cones. What's better than that?
Things have been..trying lately. I have a lot of ups and downs, mood wise, but I've found a job I like. Four weeks and going strong! Woo! And as you can see, I shaved my head. No, I am not dying of leukemia. I have not (completely) lost my mind. For one thing, my hair was unruley, and annoying. Secondly, and most importantly, I view it as a fresh start. A new Stacy. I've been thinking about school more and more, which maybe I shouldn't be doing, but I can't really help it. An esthetician program is definitely on my mind. My local college has one, as well as a nail program. However, I'm not making any real decisions as I don't want to, er.. "overload" my brain. But I have a year. That's a long time, and that sounds just dandy to me.

Things have been very tiring, trying, and difficult lately. I don't know how regular my posting will become, but I'll do what I can. I've also been debating about buzzing my hair or not. Go all Amber Rose on the world.

Hello everyone-

As you can (clearly) see, I am back from my hiatus. I received some very nice messages and I would like to say thank you so much! Things were starting to get very difficult and I was having trouble coping. I'm not saying I'm 100% better now, because I'm not, but I'm doing much better and will continue to strive for stability.

So, back on a regular note, here is my first outfit post in quite some time! Due to my depression (possible bipolar, actually) and anxiety, my amount of effort and care for my appearance has taken a nose dive. However, I am trying again, so please be patient with me. I do not know how often my posting will be, though I will put more conscious effort into it.

Hello.

As you've seen, I haven't been posting much. I got my old job back as a cashier three weeks ago, and I have gone home early twice and didn't go to one shift. That's pretty bad, I've got to say.

There's a lot that's confusing me or just creating negativity in my life right now. If you've been following me for a while, or just happened to go through my archives, you'll know what I'm talking about from this post in January. It's long, and it's sad. This post won't be nearly as bad.

I have trouble being around large groups of people constantly, yet I'm a cashier. I'm looking for a second job, yet I can't handle my first one. I'm starting to isolate myself again, yet I say I'm getting better. I feel like if I quit my job, then I'm giving up and I'll feel like a failure, though it's been on my mind this week; but I need money. I'm comfortable and uncomfortable in my skin all at once, and I don't know what to do about it. I got a tattoo yesterday, the word "Serenity" across my wrist, and it holds so much personal meaning, but I don't feel all that different.

I'm starting to lose control and it scares me. I don't know what I'm doing anmore. I know what I want to do with my life, but the steps needed to get there seem to be too much for me to handle. I guess I just feel like a pathetic failure.

Let me stop you right there. I'm not posting this to get pity comments, or negative ones, or encouraging ones, or anything. This is my personal blog, kind of like an online visual diary of sorts, and I just think that the people who follow it deserve to know what's going on. Because, hell, some of you have been with me for over two years. That says a lot.

So, I'm taking a hiatus. I'm not dressing up or wearing heels anymore. I'm not wearing my contacts or putting on makeup and I don't take photos of anything. Ever. I'm not stopping blogging forever, just for a bit. Whether it be a week, or a month, or more, I have no idea. All I know is that I'm not ok, and I need to be. For myself, and for others.

So, until I'm ok, I say thank you for following me, and goodbye.

I forget the proper name for this bottom, I think it starts with a C, but it's meant to go under dresses, other skirts, or even a wedding dress. Since I don't have many massive skirts or dresses, I doubt I'll even wear it under anything, ever. It's so massive and twirly and there are so many tiers of taffeta. This skirt makes me insanely happy. Is that weird?

The Bibles for Mission Thrift Store

It's called "The Bibles for Mission Thrift Store" and is located on Merivale Road, off Meadowlands (if you hit the Dairy Queen, you've gone too far). I'm starting to have an obsession with turning cardigans into shirts. Dangerous clothing mishaps may happen one day... For example, today, the belt almost popped open and off. That would've been so awkward.

I also went to the thrift store today; I took photos in the store and of what I purchased, so I'll do a post of that tomorrow. I plan on doing that for some other favourite shopping spots.

Appetizer

Made these scrumptious grilled sweet potato and salsa bites the other day. So delicious. There are many ways to make these, with or without garlic, with or without cumin, with or without parlsey. You can basically put anything on them and in the salsa for your individual tastes.

What I did:

Chop 1 grilled potato into small pieces (photo 1. Makes about 15 pieces). Put olive oil and thinly sliced onions on top, but all in a bowl. Mix. Put onto a frying pan to grill. 5-8 minutes on each side on medium heat.

For the salsa, I shredded a lemon for the rind. Then I cut it in half and squeezed all the juice out. I chopped more onion, as well as tomato, and mixed it all together. Add about 1-2 teaspoons of olive oil into this mixture too (photo 2).

As soon as the sweet potatoes are done grilling, place on a plate and immediately put the salsa on top. I also added shredded cheese on every piece and ham on certain pieces for my dad and boyfriend (photo 3). Add salsa on top. The heat from the sweet potatoes melts the cheese. Serve immediately.

Mushroom ritollo

Ate this delicious mushroom ritollo the other day for lunch. It's a creamy mushroom filling inside a pasta type shell with tomato sauce and cheese on top. It was extremely mushroomee though, and yes, I like mushrooms, but two of them made me sick (each one is about the size of a hockey puck).

Today was my first day at a new job as an organizer/personal assistant. The job is great, the woman who hired me is very nice, and I'm super excited about it. I had a few reservations about getting a job in a busy sector, such as retail, due to my anxiety and I kept getting scared that it might send it over the edge. I have applied to retail and if called for an interview, I would go, and if hired, I would attend. Kind of like a big "fuck you" to my mental .. state. It doesn't define who I am; why let it control my life?

I went to a massive makeup sale yesterday with my dad (heehee) and these are a few of the things I picked up. Absolutely love the new lipsticks and can't wait to test out the cream eye shadow. The last photo is my makeup bag, aka my sidekick, which holds my trusted pieces: 13 lipsticks, 7 lipglosses, 1 lip liner, 4 mascaras and 14 eyeshadows. If I buy anymore, I'm going to need a bigger bag. Or one of those heavy duty cases.

Homemade banana bread

Hello everyone. Sorry for the lack of posts lately. I haven't been going out much so I've been laying around in jeans and baggy tshirts most of the time. I'll try harder.

Anyhow, I made banana bread yesterday. It is absolutely delicious. Here's a little how-to guide for it.

WHAT YOU NEED
-1 1/4 cups of flour
-1 cup of sugar
-1 tsp of baking soda
-1/2 cup of butter/margarine/vegetable oil
-2 very ripe bananas
-2 eggs

WHAT TO DO
-preheat the oven to 350F
-in a large bowl, mix the flour + sugar + baking soda
-put the rest of the ingredients in a blender NOTE: I do not own a blender. I used a potato masher. Worked just as well. Then I used a wooden spoon to mix it all until smooth
-pour liquid mixture into the flour mixture and blend until smooth
-pour into a well-greased loaf pan
-bake for about one hour (mine was 55 minutes)

*this makes 1 loaf or 10 muffins. If you want the muffins, bake for 30 minutes at 350F.

Different faces

Thought I'd do a makeup post. These photos are from the past few months.

First look:
1) put highlighter under your brow down to the crease (generally a very pale, sometimes shimmery, white)
2) sweep a very light brown over the entire lid.
3) use black eyeliner to line the top eyelid. Start thin at the inside of the eyelid, and get thicker towards the end.
4) close your eye, and draw a line going up from the outer corner of your eye. Use the end of your eyebrow as a guide - it should match up to it. Make the line as long or short as you want. This is the wing.
5) Fill out the wing. Mine has straight edges, though you could make them curved. If you mess up, grab a q-tip and wet it with water or makeup remover and touch it up.
6) put mascara on to bring more attention to your eyes
7) for the lips, use lipliner. I use a nude one, and not only do I outline my lips (carefully!), but I fill them in as well. Coat your lips with lipstick; I went with a classic red.
8) if you want some extra shine or shimmer for your lips, use a red or clear lipgloss. Damn a little in the center and smush. This will also help make your lips look a bit bigger.

Second look:
1) use your highlighter from under the eyebrow down to the crease.
2) from the inner corner of your eye to about 1/2 way across the lid, use a blue/gray eyeshadow.
3) use the same eye shadow to outline the bottom eyelid from the inner corner to about 1/2 way across.
4) use a dark gray eyeshadow from the outer corner and sweep it to about 1/4 of the way across the lid.
5) clean your brush, or use another, and blend the second colour into the first by pushing it further across the lid. This makes it cover more area but also lightens it as it goes, making the transition between colours less obvious.
6) use the same colour to outline the other side of the bottom lid.
7) use mascara on bottom and top lashes
8) use brow filler. Lightly fill in your brows, as if colouring a shadow on a picture. Do this very gently and make sure they match - you don't want funny looking eyebrows.
9) use a light or neutral coloured lipstick or lipgloss

Third look:
1) use highlighter under the eyebrow to the crease.
2) use a very light brown colour over the entire lid
3) trace only the top lid with a thin line of medium-dark brown eyeshadow (but if you use eyeliner, smudge it a bit so it isn't a harsh line)
4) use a tiny bit of mascara on the top eyelashes
5) use a bright or dark lipstick or lipgloss. refer to look one for what to do with lipliner for a darker colour.

Fourth look:
1) use highlighter under/on the brow bone
2) use a medium brown to coat half your eyelid, starting from the inner corner. Go above the crease. Cover about 2/3 of your eyelid.
3) from the outer corner, use a very dark brown. Go in about 1/3 of the way, and go above the crease again. Smudge where the two colours meet to make the transition a little less blunt.
4) line the upper lid with a dark brown or black eyeliner/eyeshadow.
5) line the bottom eyelid with the same colour as the top one, getting thinner as you move to the inner corner. only cover about 2/3.
6) put mascara on both upper and bottom lashes.

Casual outfit worn yesterday. I got a few pairs of jeans from Old Navy a couple weeks ago, and I must say, best frikkin jeans ever. They do stretch a tad, which is a bit annoying, but they have sizes from 00-18, and of every style and colour. I am not going anywhere except there for jeans from now on.

Also, a couple weeks ago (I think?) I stated that I wanted to lose weight and, in general, be healthier. Well, I don't own a scale at this house, so I don't know if I've actually lost weight. But in the food department, I am doing great. I'm eating way more fruits than I think I ever have and I'm eating more veggie-meat so I can get more protein and whatnot. All in all, veggie meat isn't that bad - then again, I've been vegetarian for nearly 5 years and have gotten used to it. That's also why I've been posting so many photos of food lately - just to what I've been eating. I'm going to continue posting food photos, too. However, is there anything you, my awesomely loyal readers, would like to see more or less of? Just let me know in the comment section below.

Bold bursts of colours are definitely in style right now. Whether it be neon pink or a deep blue, one or two accent pieces are seen everywhere nowadays. My tips? Goals - weight loss

In the past two years, I've put on some weight, though most of it stems from the past six months due to poor diet, lack of exercise, and my medication's weight gain side effect. I kept telling myself I'm going to start eating better, or I'll exercise next week, but my self-promises kept falling through.

However, I've really noticed a decline in my health; breathing heavier if I go up multiple flights of stairs, having to go up in sizes, etc. So, I've decided to put a stop to my procrastinating and get back into shape.

Today is March 21st. By July 21st, I'm going to lose 35lbs. That is a four month window. The task itself seems daunting - so I'm breaking it up into small goals as well. By April 21st, I'm going to lose 10lbs - one month. None of this "next week" or "I'll try to." This is definite. I will, I am, I can.

Family and friends are obvious support systems for this because, let's face it, losing a large amount of weight is difficult and frustrating, and I'm sure there'll be days when I want to quit. But I also wanted to talk about it here.

I want to talk about it here because I'm 100% sure I am not the only person on the internet who wants to lose weight and tone up. Furthermore, this is a safe, non-judgemental place where I can tell my weight loss story, people can share their's in the coment section, as well as tips and helpful hints in relation to fun exercises, recipes, etc.

From now on, this is going to be my fashion, food and weight loss blog.

I'm beautiful in a way because God makes no mistakes. I'm on the right track. Baby, I was born this way.
